Tart cherries won’t be bullied by lavender in this ruby-colored beauty! Lovely back-notes of gentle lavender, tamed by a touch of citrus and the depth of dark cherries. This jelly is lovely in yogurt, amazing with any mild cheese (I’m lookin’ at you brie, ricotta, mascarpone and, yes, even our old friend cream cheese). BRB…gotta make a batch of Cherry Lavender and mascarpone tea sandwiches to fancy-up my basic white bread…but maybe I’ll get fancy and cut it into cool shapes (and I WILL be eating the crust).
